How to navigate the Medicare maze

Nothing involving the federal government is ever as simple as it could be. When one is approaching the age to apply for Medicare, there are a number of due dates and penalties that can be avoided with the proper planning. The video below is a lecture we attended on advising clients on these problems. Although the audience members are primarily accountants and financial advisors, there are some very understandable strategies and ideas for all of us nearing this season of life.
